Yolanda Diaz is the founder and President of MIRADOR Enterprises, Inc. Yolanda Diaz, born and raised in El Paso is a 1992 Graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso and received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Yolanda has over 25 years of executive management experience in the corporate and federal sectors. She has as Son Christian who is 23 years old and a graduate from Texas A&M in College Station.
Yolanda currently serves on several boards including the El Paso 8(a) Government Contractors Association, YWCA, United Way, NAWIC and a member of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, member of AUSA (Association of the United States Army) member of NAWIC (National Women in Construction) member of PACA (Professional Aerospace Contractors Association of New Mexico, member of El Paso Chamber of Commerce, member of SMSDC (Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council, NCTRA, NCMA (National Contract Management Association.
MIRADOR is a Woman Owned Small Business and successful SBA 8(a) graduate based in El Paso, Texas with offices in Albuquerque, NM, Alamogordo, NM and Colorado Springs. MIRADOR provides high quality facilities management and maintenance services, sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM), design build, program management, environmental compliance and environmental management services to Federal, State and Municipal Customers. Yolanda’s vision and strategy for continuing to grow the company has been to team with other successful companies.
Recently in 2017, Yolanda Diaz was selected as Business Woman of the Year by TAMACC. In the same year, MIRADOR was selected by the Small Business Administration as 8(a) Graduate of the Year for the El Paso district. . MIRADOR received the SBA Region VI Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award, in 2011 – MIRADOR received an award by Ft. Bliss for Environmental Contractor of the Year. MIRADOR`s Ft. Bliss Recycling team was recognized by the commanding general for winning 1st place Keep Texas Beautiful award. MIRADOR also received an award from Minority Business Enterprises – Medweek for years 2010 and 2016 for Minority Construction Firm of the Year along with an award by the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as one of the Future 15 Businesses.
Herman Rocha is the Controller for MIRADOR Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Rocha has a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He has been with the company for 8 years and brings almost 20 years of accounting experience to the company, fifteen of which are in the construction industry. He is a polymath who utilizes multiple disciplines in guiding MIRADOR`s back office operations with the goal of facilitating relationships amongst the company, partners, customers and vendors. He is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and an active participant in the El Paso Chapter.
Vice President of Operations
Hector Martinez is currently the Vice President of Operations for MIRADOR Enterprises, INC. Mr. Martinez has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at El Paso. Hector has been with the company for over 15 years and is one of the original founding members of the company. He is MIRADOR`s technical, operations, cost and proposal lead. He provides complete oversight of all MIRADOR`s proposal and operation efforts. Prior to MIRADOR, Hector established an extensive background working with major Environmental, Engineering and Construction firms for both OCONUS and CONUS requirements.
