Yolanda Diaz is the Founder and President of MIRADOR Enterprises, Inc. Born and raised in El Paso, Yolanda is a 1992 graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She has over 25 years of executive management experience in both the corporate and federal sectors. Yolanda has a son, Christian, a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station.

Yolanda currently serves on several boards, including the El Paso 8(a) Government Contractors Association, YWCA, United Way, and NAWIC, and is an active member of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, AUSA (Association of the United States Army), PACA (Professional Aerospace Contractors Association of New Mexico), El Paso Chamber of Commerce, SMSDC (Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council), NCTRA, and NCMA (National Contract Management Association).

MIRADOR Enterprises, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business and a successful SBA 8(a) graduate based in El Paso, Texas, with offices in Albuquerque, NM; Alamogordo, NM; and Colorado Springs, CO. MIRADOR provides high-quality facilities management and maintenance services, sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM), design-build, program management, environmental compliance, and environmental management services to federal, state, and municipal customers. Yolanda’s vision and strategy for continuing to grow the company have been to partner with other successful firms.

In 2017, Yolanda Diaz was selected as Business Woman of the Year by TAMACC. That same year, MIRADOR was recognized by the Small Business Administration as the 8(a) Graduate of the Year for the El Paso District. MIRADOR also received the SBA Region VI Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award. In 2011, MIRADOR was honored by Fort Bliss as Environmental Contractor of the Year. The company’s Fort Bliss Recycling Team was recognized by the Commanding General for winning 1st Place in the Keep Texas Beautiful Award. MIRADOR also received the Minority Construction Firm of the Year Award from Minority Business Enterprises – MEDWeek in 2010 and 2016, along with recognition by the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as one of the Future 15 Businesses.
